The invention provides a urine guanine nucleotide binding protein subunit alpha-13 (guanine nucleotide binding protein subunit alpha-13) and an application of a polypeptide fragment of the urine guanine nucleotide binding protein subunit alpha-13. The invention further provides a preparation method of the urine guanine nucleotide binding protein subunit alpha-13 and an application of the polypeptide fragment of the urine guanine nucleotide binding protein subunit alpha-13. The invention particularly relates to application of a urine guanine nucleotide binding protein subunit alpha-13 and a polypeptide fragment thereof in preparation of preparations for burn diagnosis, differential diagnosis, burn area and degree evaluation, treatment effect evaluation, monitoring, prognosis evaluation, mechanism research and the like.
