Application of composition of water pteris vittata and beta-caryophyllene in prevention and treatment of virus infection

The invention provides a composition for preventing and/or treating virus infection. The composition comprises water pteris vittata or an extract of the water pteris vittata and beta-caryophyllene, wherein the viruses comprise RNA viruses and DNA viruses, the RNA viruses are RNA viruses causing fever infectious diseases and are selected from one or more of HIV viruses, Ebola viruses, Marburg viruses, lasa fever viruses, rabies viruses, hepatitis A viruses and hand-foot-mouth viruses, and the condition is that influenza viruses and herpes viruses are not included; the DNA virus is selected from one or more of hepatitis B virus and HPV (human papillomavirus).
