Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses an application of a rib-costal cartilage in reconstruction of a temporomandibular joint. And the ribs are densely arranged cancellous bones which are provided with thin-layer compact bones and surround bone trabecula. The costal cartilages are selected from costal cartilages with the calcification degree of 0-25%. The costal cartilage is selected from non-calcification type costal cartilage. The cross section of the rib-costal cartilage selection is in an oval shape. The bending degree of the rib-costal cartilage ranges from 0 degree to 10 degrees. The rib and the costal cartilage have the advantages of being good in biocompatibility, free of rejection reaction, easy to survive and the like, and the temporal-mandibular joint replacement technology using the rib and the costal cartilage has the advantages of being low in complication occurrence rate, good in shape fitness and wide in application prospect.
