Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a luminous decorative element and an associated method of manufacture. The luminous decorative element comprises at least one light guide (12) and at least one light source (14). The at least one light source (14) is adapted to emit light into the at least one light guide (12), and the at least one light guide (12) is adapted to guide light therein emitted by the at least one light source (14).
