The preparation method comprises the following steps: performing high-temperature carbonization on trisodium citrate serving as a raw material in an inert atmosphere to prepare a cross-linked nano carbon plate material; dissolving a nickel source and a manganese source in water, adding the cross-linked nano carbon sheet material, stirring, dissolving and carrying out hydrothermal reaction in sequence, and washing and drying an obtained product to obtain a precursor material; enabling the precursor material and selenium powder to be subjected to a heating reaction in hydrogen and argon mixed gas, and obtaining a cross-linked nano carbon plate loaded nickel selenide/manganese selenide nano particle composite material.
