Zusammenfassung: | Tin-plated steel plates are important materials for manufacturing food and beverage can packages. The corrosion resistance against acid media is a main quality index. At present, a standard test method for measuring the ATC value is adopted at home and abroad to test the corrosion resistance of the tin-plated thin steel plate. According to the stipulation of corrosion resistance in the ASTM international standard of the tin-plated thin steel plate, the ATC value of a qualified K-grade plate should be smaller than 0.12 mA/cm , and the ATC value of a superior K-grade plate should be 0.05 mA/cm or lower. However, the method needs more than 20 hours of test time and is inconvenient to use. Therefore, that seeking a rapid identification method for the superior K tin-plated steel plate to facilitate production monitoring is necessary.
