Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the field of extraction and separation of traditional Chinese medicines, in particular to a nitrogen-containing organic acid compound extracted, separated and identified from purslane and an extraction and separation method thereof. The molecular formula of the nitrogen-containing organic acid compound is C16H30N2O5, and the nitrogen-containing organic acid compound is named as 5-(diethylamino)-2-(3-(diethylamino)-3-oxopropyl)-2-hydroxy-5-oxopentanoic acid. The invention also provides the extraction and separation method of the nitrogen-containing organic acid compound. The nitrogen-containing organic acid compound is prepared by sequentially adopting water decoction extraction, silica gel column chromatography, ethyl acetate extraction, ODS medium-pressure column, SI medium-pressure column and liquid phase separation.
