The invention discloses a soft top fabric for skylights. The soft top fabric comprises a waterproof breathable layer. A first sound insulation layer and a second sound insulation layer are arranged on the upper surface and the lower surface of the waterproof breathable layer respectively. Surface layers are arranged on the sides, away from each other, of the first sound insulation layer and the second sound insulation layer, and each surface layer is formed by interweaving a plurality of composite wefts and composite warps. Each composite weft is formed by mutually winding a group of cotton fiber yarns and four groups of high-elasticity fiber polyester yarns, and the outer surface of each composite weft is coated with a first anti-static layer.
