Method for improving stability of p-hydroxyacetophenone in cosmetic composition

The present invention relates to a method for improving the stability of p-hydroxyacetophenone in a cosmetic composition, the method comprises the steps: adding a pH stabilizer to a cosmetic composition containing p-hydroxyacetophenone to maintain the pH of the composition stable, thereby improving the stability of p-hydroxyacetophenone in a cosmetic composition, this significantly alleviates the discoloration (yellowing) problem of the cosmetic composition due to instability of p-hydroxyacetophenone.
