CATHETER ASSEMBLY

A catheter assembly (10) may include a catheter member (200) having a proximal portion and an outer surface; an introducer (100, 300) having a lumen configured to receive the proximal portion of the catheter member; and a sleeve (160) having a compressed portion (168) housed in the lumen of the introducer, the sleeve being configured to evert over the outer surface as the catheter member is inserted through the lumen of the introducer.
