Zusammenfassung:Provided is an insecticidal efficacy enhancer that can effectively enhance the insecticidal efficacy of a pyrethroid insecticide component having a relatively high vapor pressure in an aqueous insecticide composition for thermal transpiration that contains the pyrethroid insecticide component. The insecticidal efficacy enhancer contains, as an active ingredient, a glycol-based compound in which a hydroxyl group is bonded to each of two adjacent carbon atoms in an alkane having 4-7 carbon atoms. The insecticidal efficacy enhancer is blended in an aqueous insecticide composition for thermal transpiration that contains a pyrethroid insecticide component having a vapor pressure of 2*10 to 1*10 mm Hg at 30 DEG C. 本发明提供一种在含有相对蒸气压高的拟除虫菊酯系杀虫成分的加热蒸散用水性杀虫剂组合物中,可有效地增强该拟除虫菊酯系杀虫成分的杀虫效力的杀虫效力增强剂。本发明为以在碳数为4~7的烷烃的相邻的2个碳原子上分别键合有一个羟基的二醇系化合物作为有效成分杀虫效力增强剂,所述杀虫效力增强剂配合在含有30℃的蒸气压为2×10-4mmHg~1×10-2mmHg的拟除虫菊酯系杀虫成分的加热蒸散用水性杀虫剂组合物中。
