Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses modified epoxy resin with hydrophobic property as well as a preparation method and application thereof. Raw materials for compositely preparing the modified epoxy resin comprise 50-70wt% of epoxy resin, 10-20wt% of a phytic acid solution, 5-10wt% of dodecyl-tetradecyl glycidyl ether and 10-25wt% of an alcohol ether solvent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: dissolving phytic acid and dodecyl-tetradecyl glycidyl ether in an alcohol ether solvent at room temperature, and heating for reaction to obtain phytic acid modified dodecyl-tetradecyl glycidyl ether; and mixing the product in epoxy resin, and thermally melting the two to obtain the modified epoxy resin.
