This reagent container lid opening and closing mechanism comprises an opening and closing operation body 106 that can move forward and backward and has opening and closing engagement parts for engaging with engagement parts 139 provided on the upper surfaces of container lids 137 of reagent containers 135A, 135B, 135C.
