Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides: a novel shim for disk brakes, said shim being capable of effectively suppressing the occurrence of vibration or squeal; and a disk brake. A shim for disk brakes, said shim being characterized by having a multilayer structure composed of three or more layers including at least a base material layer that is formed of a metal plate and a rubber foam layer that is arranged on one main surface the base material layer, while being also characterized in that the rubber foam layer is arranged as an intermediate layer of the multilayer structure.
