The invention provides a double-track driving elevator which is provided with an elevator car, driving tracks are arranged in the left side and the right side of the elevator car, the driving tracks are fixed to the two sides of an elevator shaft through track fixing frames, track teeth are installed in the middles of the driving tracks, and a counterweight track is fixed to one side or the rear side of the elevator shaft through the track fixing frames, the counterweight track plays a role in guiding a counterweight device to move up and down, the upper end of the counterweight device is connected with a mooring rope to sequentially pass through a counterweight guide wheel, a car guide wheel, a double-track driving device and the elevator car, the whole movement process can be kept stable, a relative centering function is achieved, and the double-track driving elevator has incomparable advantages compared with a traction type elevator int the aspects of safey, maintainability, and the purchase, use and maint
