The biomass charcoal rod is prepared by mixing the following raw materials in parts by mass: 30-35 parts of rice straw charcoal, 30-35 parts of corn straw charcoal and 25-30 parts of composite Portland cement. The biomass charcoal rod is applied to a device for recovering nutrient substances in water, and is used for adsorbing ions such as NH4 and PO4 and other organic matter.
