The invention discloses a power transmission line relay protection system adapted to access of series reactors. The power transmission line relay protection system comprises a voltage transformer and a current transformer which are respectively configured on two sides of an overhead line; the voltage transformer and the current transformer are arranged on the side, not connected with the overhead line, of the two sides of the series reactors; the line protection devices are respectively configured on two sides of the overhead line and short lead protection devices are configured for the series reactors; and after the short lead protection devices act, the circuit breaker on the side is tripped off, and the circuit breaker on the opposite side is tripped through the line protection devices.
