Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a method for image enhancement. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a visible light image and a near-infrared image of a shot object; enhancing the brightness of the visible light image by using the near-infrared image; extracting detail information of the near-infrared image; and supplementing the extracted detail information of the near-infrared image into the brightness-enhanced visible light image to calculate a detail-compensated image pixel value. In addition, the invention further provides a device for executing the method and a computer readable medium. Through the method, details and textures can be effectively restored, meanwhile, color information of the image can be well restored, an original image structure cannot be damaged, and the method has the advantages of being efficient in calculation, simple in programming, high in real-time performance and the like.
