The structure damage monitoring method comprises the following steps of acquiring a response signal sample; according to a plurality of preset feature selection parameters, extracting a plurality of feature vectors of the response signal sample one by one, combining a plurality of feature vectors into a feature vector set, and normalizing the feature vector set to obtain a standard feature vector set; and inputting the feature vectors of the standard feature vector set into a pre-trained support vector machine classification model to obtain a classification result output by the support vector machine classification model.
