Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a wheel speed sensor (1) for a utility vehicle, having an active pulse sensor (6) with a specified detection direction and a housing (8) which at least partly encloses the pulse sensor (6). The housing (8) has a first (3) and a second component (7), by means of which the first component (3) can be at least partly enclosed and to which the first component (3) can be connected in an at least partly formfitting manner. The pulse sensor (6) is secured to the first component (3), and a radial cable outlet (10) is integrally formed together with the second component (7) and guides the cable (4) in a direction other than the direction of an axis (12) of the wheel speed sensor (1).
