The vibrator comprises a vibrating rod main body and an extension main body, wherein the extension main body comprises a steel pipe section and an extension section; the steel pipe section is provided with a steel pipe cavity; the inner diameter of the steel pipe section is greater than the diameter of the vibrating rod main body; the extension section comprises a plurality of extension steel pipes with the same diameter; the two adjacent extension steel pipes are movably connected; and the diameter of the extension steel pipes is smaller than the diameter of the vibrating rod main body. The vibrating method comprises the following steps of: positioning the position of a double-layer steel plate shear wall and placing an elevation line of the double-layer steel plate shear wall; binding steel bars and welding double-layer steel plates; mounting a template supporting system; pouring concrete in layers and vibrating in layers, wherein th
