Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a porous medium infrared burner material as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The infrared burner material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 45-60 parts of cordierite; 10-15 parts of aluminum oxide; 1-5 parts of aluminum hydroxide; 6-20 parts of kaolin; 15-25 parts of a pore forming agent; and 1-5 parts of a binder. The mass ratio of the aluminum hydroxide to the kaolin is 1: (3-10). According to the invention, cordierite, kaolin, aluminum oxide and aluminum hydroxide are adopted as raw materials to prepare the porous medium infrared burner material, the porous medium infrared burner material has very high mechanical properties and thermal shock resistance, the minimum high-temperature breaking strength is 20 MPa, and the material can resist thermal shock for at least 50 times; and the requirement of an existing infrared burner for a furnace end is met, and the material can be applied to an infrared burner.
