Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a quartz glass raw material capable of improving the mechanical strength of quartz glass and a production method of quartz glass. The quartz glass raw material comprises the following materials in percentage by mass: 0.0005%-0.0015% of calcium oxide, 0.0005%-0.0015% of manganese oxide, 0.00075%-0.00225% of lithium oxide, 0.0015%-0.0045% of magnesium oxide and 0.0025%-0.0225% of aluminum oxide. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, adding a calcium oxide, a manganese oxide, a lithium oxide, a magnesium oxide and an aluminum oxide into raw materials according to a certain mass content percentage; 2, dissolving a specified amount of calcium oxide, lithium oxide, magnesium oxide, manganese oxide and aluminum oxide into an aqueous solution, adding the aqueous solution into the quartz particle raw material, and conducting stirring; and 3, carrying out modification and other processes on the stirred material in the step 2 to produce the quartz glass raw material.
