STATOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A STATOR OF AN ELECTRIC MACHINE

A method for manufacturing a stator (20) of an electric machine is provided. The method comprises: providing the stator (20), the stator having at least one stator groove (22), the at least one stator groove being delimited by two stator teeth; introducing an electrical conductor (30) into the at least one stator groove (22), wherein the at least one conductor (30) has an expandable coating (25) locally applied on its surface; and activating the expandable coating (25) to expand the expandable coating (25), thereby securing the conductors (30) within the stator groove (22).
