The photoelectric composite cable comprises a non-metal fiber bearing layer, a sensing optical fiber unit, an inner protective layer, an electric unit, a filling piece, an optical fiber unit, a watertight filling material and an outer protective layer; the non-metal fiber bearing layer is formed by twisting a plurality of non-metal fibers, each non-metal fiber is stranded before being twisted, and since the the non-metal fibers are twisted, the overall breaking strength of the non-metal fibers is improved.
