Reversing mechanism for power tool

The invention relates to a reversing mechanism for a pneumatic or hydraulic power tool. The tool has a rotor adapted to selectively rotate in either of a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction. The reversing mechanism allows a user to actuate a button that rotates a valve to direct airflow through the tool. By pressing the button, the button will laterally move the base and thereby rotate the valve.
