Vehicle ECU upgrading system and method

The invention discloses a vehicle ECU upgrading system and method. The system comprises a handheld device and at least one to-be-upgraded vehicle. The handheld device is used for sending an ECU upgrading data packet to a to-be-upgraded vehicle meeting a vehicle upgrading verification condition in a wireless communication range of the device, so that the to-be-upgraded vehicle in the wireless communication range of the device is subjected to vehicle ECU upgrading; the to-be-upgraded vehicle is used for receiving an ECU upgrading data packet sent by the handheld device or other to-be-upgraded vehicles with vehicle ECU upgrading completed, completing vehicle ECU upgrading, simulating the handheld device, sending the ECU upgrading data packet to the to-be-upgraded vehicle meeting the vehicle upgrading verification condition within the vehicle wireless communication range, therefore, the vehicle ECU upgrading operation of all to-be-upgraded vehicles in the system is realized.
