The novel butterfly valve aims at solving the problem that the water flow in a pipeline is changed due to the rotation of a worm of a butterfly valve when the existing butterfly valve vibrates or is operated by a non-professional person by mistake. According to the scheme, the novel butterfly valve comprises a through pipe, wherein a pipe hole is formed in the side end of the through pipe; a worm is rotationally connected to the circumferential inner wall of the pipe hole, movably penetrates through the circumferential surface of the through pipe and extends upwards, and a sealing sheet is fixedly connected to the circumferential surface of the worm; and a fixing seat is fixedly connected to the upper end of the through pipe, an angle adjusting mechanism and a locking mechanism are sequentially arranged on the upper side of the fixing seat from left to right, and the worm penetrate
