The invention discloses a silencing absorber for a screw compressor. The silencing absorber comprises a main barrel, a first insertion pipe, a second insertion pipe and a liquid spray gun; the main barrel is provided with an inner cavity, a partition plate is arranged in the inner cavity and divides the inner cavity into a first chamber and a second chamber, the second chamber is located on the downstream of the first chamber, the length of the second chamber is different from that of the first chamber, and the partition plate is provided with a through hole; the first insertion pipe penetrates through the top end of the main barrel and extends into the first chamber, the second insertion pipe penetrates through the partition plate, and the upper portion and the lower portion of the second insertion pipe are located in the first chamber and the second chamber respectively; and the liquid spray gun penetrates through the side face of the main barrel and extends into the first chamber, and an outlet of the liqu
