Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a glass solder for connecting transparent magnesium aluminate spinel ceramics and a method for connecting the transparent magnesium aluminate spinel ceramics, and belongs to the technical field of welding. The glass solder is composed of the following components in percentage by weight: 18-24% of CaO, 12-16% of Al2O3, 54-60% of SiO2, 1-4% of B2O3, 3-6% of R2O, and 1-6% of Y2O3. The connection method comprises the following steps: preparing glass solder powder by adopting a melting water quenching method; placing a glass solder between the two magnesium aluminate spinel ceramics to be welded; putting the assembled sample into a resistance furnace, heating to 1250-1400 DEG C, keeping the temperature for 20-30 minutes, and cooling at a speed higher than 15 DEG C/min; and putting the sample cooled to the room temperature into the resistance furnace again for annealing.
