The invention provides a vein image quality evaluation method. The vein image quality evaluation method comprises the following steps: searching optimal values of two parameters for evaluating brightness and definition of vein image quality based on a neural network training model; inputting a vein image T to be evaluated; scoring the brightness of the vein image T according to the optimal value of the brightness parameter to obtain a brightness score S1, and scoring the definition of the vein image T according to the optimal value of the definition parameter to obtain a definition score S2; performing vein feature information scoring on the vein image T to obtain a vein feature score S3; and integrating the brightness score S1, the definition score S2 and the vein feature score S3 to obtain a final score evaluation result S of the vein image T. The invention also provides a vein image quality evaluation method and a terminal. According to the vein image quality evaluation method, the vein image quality evalu
