The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and device for generating a computer-aided design (CAD) construction drawing. The method for generating the CAD construction drawing comprises the following steps: acquiring configuration data for generating the CAD construction drawing, and taking the configuration data as first configuration data; determining a data identifier of the first configuration data; writing the data identifier into a template file used for generating the CAD construction drawing, wherein the drawing style specification of the CAD construction drawing generated by using the template file is predetermined; and based on the template file, generating a CAD construction drawing conforming to the drawing style specification. According to the embodiment of the invention, the template file is used to record the configuration data of the CAD construction drawing generated after each modification, so that the operation of re-modification in the exported CAD construction drawing is reduced,
