The slip type recoverable anchor cable comprises a bare steel strand, a slip type damper, a guide cap, a bearing plate, a steel strand sheath and an unbonded steel strand. The using method comprises the following steps that step 1, a damper is designed; step 2, a slip type damper is manufactured; step 3, the anchor cable is assembled; step 4, the anchor cable is woven; step 5, the anchor cable is tensioned and locked; and step 6, the anchor cable is recycled.
