Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for painting an outer skin component (12) of a motor vehicle, in which method the outer skin component (12) is conveyed by means of a conveying installation (16) through a painting station (10) having at least two spraying tools (24, 26, 34, 60) which are each held on a robot arm (20, 22, 32, 58) and by each of which paint is applied to a visible region (28) of the outer skin component (12), wherein the at least two robot arms (20, 22, 32, 58) with their respective spraying tools (24, 26, 34, 60) are controlled by means of a control device (30) for the application of the paint.
