Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a high-nickel ternary positive electrode material of a lithium ion battery and a modification method of the high-nickel ternary positive electrode material. The method comprises the following steps of respectively putting a high-nickel ternary positive electrode material precursor and a lithium source into the liquid nitrogen at -196 DEG C for cryogenic grinding; doping yttrium into the surfaces of the ground high-nickel ternary positive electrode material precursor particles through an ion implantation method; and uniformly mixing the yttrium-doped nickel ternary positive electrode material precursor particles and the ground lithium source, and sintering to obtain the high-nickel ternary positive electrode material for the lithium ion battery.
