The invention provides a non-stoichiometric-ratio high-entropy ceramic, which is one of MCX, MNX and M(CN)X, wherein X is more than or equal to 0.5 and less than or equal to 0.9, MCX is a non-stoichiometric-ratio IVB, VB or VIB group transition metal carbide, MNX is a non-stoichiometric-ratio IVB, VB or VIB group transition metal nitride, and M(CN)X is a non-stoichiometric-ratio IVB, VB or VIB group transition metal covalent bond carbon nitrogen compound and is of a single-phase single-face-centered cubic crystal structure. The invention also provides a preparation method of the non-stoichiometric-ratio high-entropy ceramic.
