The invention relates to the field of automatic control machines, and discloses an automatic welding robot which comprises a first driving assembly including a first belt wheel, a first belt arranged on the first belt wheel in a sleeved mode, and a first driving motor used for driving the first belt wheel, a first linear rail plate, a first linear rail installed on the first linear rail plate, a first sliding block which is matched with the first linear rail and can slide along the first linear rail, a first belt clamp clamped on the first belt and fixedly connected with the first sliding block, and a mounting plate fixedly connected with the first belt clamp; the left end face of the mounting plate is fixedly connected with the first sliding block; an air cylinder is arranged on the right end surface of the mounting plate; and a clamp assembly including a driving plate, a left chuck, a right finger, a spring limiting block and a spring. Therefore, the clamping and releasing actions of the clamp can be realiz
