The invention relates to a working face hydraulic support multi-dimensional positioning system and method. The working face hydraulic support multi-dimensional positioning system comprises an inertial navigation module, a chute acceleration sensor, a stroke sensor, a hydraulic support acceleration sensor, a monitoring substation and a main control module. The inertial navigation module is used for monitoring the position of a machine head of a scraper conveyor; the chute acceleration sensor is used for monitoring the displacement of a chute relative to the machine head so as to determine the position of the chute; the stroke sensor is used for determining the position of a base of the hydraulic support according to the position of the chute; the hydraulic support acceleration sensor is used for monitoring the spatial orientation and posture of the hydraulic support; the monitoring substation is used for monitoring numerical values of the stroke sensor and the hydraulic support acceleration sensor and transmit
