The method comprises the steps that firstly, the size of a ballast block is determined according to the size of a site space, then horizontal anti-sliding force and horizontal ballast force are calculated according to the size of the ballast block, then the needed penetration depth and penetration weight are calculated, and finally rechecking is conducted. The design calculation thought is clear, simple and easy for engineering calculation personnel to master. According to the designed deep sea gravity type apron board anchor, the apron board is subjected to static pressure to the designed depth through gravity instead of negative pressure; wherein in the bearing process, the apron board and the ballast weight can provide anti-sliding force and anti-pulling force at the same time, and the balancing weight ensures that the apron board anchor penetrates to the designed depth.
