The optical module comprises a circuit board and a light emitting sub-module electrically connected with the circuit board, wherein the light emitting sub-module comprises an emitting shell, and a laser, a collimating lens, a converging lens and a planar optical waveguide which are arranged in the emitting shell, and the planar optical waveguide comprises an input optical waveguide and an output optical waveguide which are located on the same input and output end face; the input optical waveguide and the input and output end face are both obliquely arranged relative to the light emitting direction of the laser, the collimating lens converts laser beams emitted by the laser into collimated beams, the converging lens converts the collimated beams into converged beams, and the converged beams are refracted into the input optical waveguide through the input and output end face.
