The detection method comprises the following steps: treating a sample by fire assaying lead coating ash blowing to separate gold, silver, platinum and palladium from other impurity elements to obtain precious metal combined particles A, separating a part of combined particles with a too small mass ratio of silver to gold, and carrying out silver supplementing ash blowing to obtain combined particles B; correcting silver by adopting a cupellation coefficient method; and finally, measuring silver, platinum and palladium in the gold particles and gold, platinum and palladium in the gold separation liquid through the inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry, correcting the amount of the gold and the amount of the silver, and improving the accuracy.
