The invention provides an encoder, a motor and automation equipment. The encoder comprises a circuit board and a magnetic part capable of moving relative to the circuit board. The circuit board comprises: at least three magnetic induction modules used for inducing changes of magnetic signals of the magnetic part to generate two kinds of magnetic coding signals, and according to the two kinds of magnetic coding signals, obtaining the running direction, the turn value and the absolute position of the encoder at the current moment; at least one light sensing module used for sensing the change of the light signal of the encoder to generate a light encoding signal so as to obtain the relative position of the encoder at the current moment; and a signal processing unit connected with each module so as to determine the position information of the encoder at the current moment according to the running direction, the turn value, the absolute position and the relative position of the encoder at the current moment.
