Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to monoclonal antibodies directed against RGM A protein for use in the treatment of retinal nerve fiber layer degeneration. The present application describes RGM A binding proteins, in particular monoclonal antibodies, and in particular CDR transplanted, humanized forms thereof, for use in the treatment of retinal nerve fibrous layer (RNFL) degeneration, which have the ability to bind to RGM A and to prevent binding of RGM proteins to RGM A receptors and other RGM A binding proteins, and thus neutralize the function of RGM A.
