According to a technical scheme in the invention, the flame-retardant friction material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 3 to 9 parts of liquid nitrile rubber, 6 to 12 parts of borosilicate resin, 0.4 to 1 part of an accelerant CZ, 0.8 to 1.5 parts of an anti-aging agent BLE, 0.4 to 1 part of an accelerant DM, 0.4 to 1 part of sulfur, 25 to 50 parts of magnesium hydroxide, 10 to 15 parts of aluminum hydroxide, 5 to 9 parts of powder quartz, 5 to 10 parts of iron phosphate, 3 to 6 parts of silica powder and 4 to 10 parts of zirconium oxide fibers.
