The method comprises the following steps: preparing a carbon source into nanoparticles with uniform size, uniformly dispersing the carbon source nanoparticles into an inorganic solid catalyst, compacting, heating in air, cooling, washing with water, and extracting with an organic solvent to obtain the fluorescent carbon dots.
