The invention provides a mechanical assembly of a motor and a controller. The mechanical assembly comprises: a motor unit having two parallel and substantially circular motor end parts and a motor edge part extending between the two motor end parts; and a controller unit having two parallel controller end parts and a controller edge part extending between the two controller end parts, wherein the controller unit is mounted on one of the motor end part in such a manner that the controller end prats are parallel to the motor end parts, and the controller edge part is correspondingly attached to the motor edge part in a proportion of not less than 50%, so that the motor unit and the controller unit are compactly arranged along the thickness direction to reduce the thickness, and the controller unit is prevented from expanding along the radial direction of the motor unit, so as to effectively reduce the overall size of the mechanical assembly and achieve standardization and universality. 本发明提供了一种电机与控制器的机械总成，包括电机单
