Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a face gear on-machine detection method, and belongs to the field of gear measurement. A novel point distribution grid is adopted to carry out on-machine detection on the tooth surface precision of the face gear. The grid is composed of a contact line of a transverse face gear and the slotting cutter and a contact trace of a vertical face gear and a worm grinding wheel. During measurement, after groove alignment of a measuring head and the tooth surface, geometric errors of grid points are measured, error measurement of all the grid points on a single tooth surface is completed according to a planned track, and measured data are processed.
