The purpose of the present invention is to provide a coloring composition which comprises: a compound, in which the maximum absorption wavelength located farthest on the long wavelength side in an absorption spectrum of the compound is located on the long wavelength side of the maximum absorption wavelength located farthest on the long wavelength side in an absorption spectrum of C.I. Pigment Yellow 138 which is conventionally known; and/or a compound which has a wavelength of a shoulder peak located farthest on the long wavelength side in an absorption spectrum.
