Method for treating residual pot powder

The invention discloses a method for treating residual pot powder, which comprises the following steps of: providing the residual pot powder which is obtained by reducing and volatilizing zinc leaching residues produced in a zinc hydrometallurgy process in a rotary kiln and then collecting the zinc leaching residues at a waste heat boiler; adding the residual pot powder and an acid leaching solution into a reaction tank, and performing a neutral leaching reaction to obtain a mixed solution; filtering the mixed solution to obtain filtrate and filter residues; and sending the filtrate to a zinc hydrometallurgy system, and sending the filter residues to the rotary kiln for reduction volatilization.
