A remote controller (1) comprises: a remote controller body (2) having an insertion hole (26); a battery holder (4) that is provided insertably and removably into the insertion hole (26) of the remote controller body (2) and attachably and detachably holds a battery (3); a conductive terminal (6) provided in the remote controller body (2); and a tape (5) capable of fixing the battery holder (4) to the remote controller body (2). The battery (3) is electrically connected to the terminal (6) at a first position where the battery (3) is inserted into the insertion hole (26) with the battery holder (4). The battery (3) is separated from the terminal (6) at a second position where the battery (3) inserted into the insertion hole (26) is located at a lesser depth than the first position.
